Provenance:

Former European private collection since the 18th century based on the restoration techniques.
Said to have been found in the region of Apt, Vaucluse. Acquired from La Reine Margot art. gallery, Paris, May 1997.
In the Swiss private collection of art trader Alain Moatti (1939-2023).
