Le Temps des Ruines

25 September - 23 January

3 quai Voltaire
75007 Paris
France

Galerie Chenel gives carte blanche to the French photographer François Halard for a brand-new exhibition: Le Temps des Ruines.
The exhibition will mix ancient sculptures and photographs. It will present two series of artistic Polaroïds: one of the Roman temple of Baalbek in Lebanon and the other of the Villa Cupola, an futuristic architecture on Budelli island, near Sardinia, by the director Michelangelo Antonioni for the actress Monica Vitti.
Both Roman and modern ruins will be exhibited together surrounded by sculptures and antique fragments, a poetic testimony of the passing of time.
The exhibition will present unique Polaroïds and prints.
